For Immediate Release: November 18th, 2015
(HOLLYWOOD, CA) My Hero Toys (http://www.myherotoys.com) is ready to rock Designer Con this weekend. November 21st and 22nd, My Hero Toys will have its line of customizable vinyl figures available at booth #1035. Designer Con is billed as an annual art and design convention that smashes together collectible toys and designer goods with urban, underground and pop art. My Hero Toys is a customizable line of stylized female shaped vinyl figures created in 2014 by Tanya Tate and Alexander Raymond. Available in four colors, the “blank” My Hero Toys can be used as a base for imaginative designers to create characters. More recently, a limited edition My Hero Toys pre-painted figure based on Tanya’s Lady Titan superhero character debuted.
At Designer Con My Hero Toys will reveal new pre-painted sample figures from the upcoming FeMonstars line. Based on a concept by Alexander, FeMonstars is a group of superhero monsters that come together to save the world from an incredible evil. The prototypes for the line will be on display at the show.
“We’re very excited about Designer Con,” said Alexander. “We’ll have some unique custom pieces artists have previously created as well as prototypes from the FeMonsters series. This is the perfect event for our product. We look forward to creating a greater awareness of My Hero Toys among the designer vinyl community.”
Designer Con is set to take place at the Pasadena Convention Center - Exhibit Hall located at 300 East Green Street in Pasadena. Ticket and other information regarding the event can be found on the show’s official website: http://www.designercon.com.
Those that can’t make it to Designer Con can still purchase My Hero Toys figures from MyHeroToys.com.
